Large Projection Screens
Large Format Projection Screen technology
Digital Glass is Pro Display’s next-generation ultra-short throw projector screen technology. It is manufactured by a special process that coats an advanced optical projection layer directly onto toughened glass or acrylic, producing a durable, cost-effective alternative to LCD and LED video walls in sizes up to 8000mm x 3000mm.
Standard Digital Glass Screen Sizes*
*Custom glass sizes up to 5000mm x 1500mm available on request, custom acrylic sizes up to 8000mm x 3000mm
XXL Glass Projection Screens
Available in sizes up to 5000mm x 1500mm, this large glass projection screen can be manufactured for rear or front projection applications. Our large format glass screens offer a rigid projection solution that’s also cost-effective when compared to the acrylic alternative as well as similar size and quality LED/LCD screens. Our Digital Glass also supports UST, edge-blending and active 3D as well as having a choice of high gain or high contrast surface.
Boasting HD/4K image quality, this screen’s ability to perform even in bright areas also makes it an ideal solution for use in auditoriums, shopping centres and museums where the lighting cannot always be controlled.
LARGE ACRYLIC PROJECTION SCREENS
Available in sizes up to 8000mm x 3000mm, this large acrylic projection screen can be manufactured for rear or front projection applications. Our large format Plexiglas screens offer a lightweight projection solution that’s also more robust when compared to the glass alternative. Supporting UST projection, these screens are an ideal digital signage solution for high traffic areas, with the projector positioned close to the back of the screen to take up minimal floor space and remove the chance of shadows blocking the image.
These XXL Acrylic Projection Screens also support active 3D and edge-blending for joining multiple screens. We also offer a choice of projection surface, with options for high contrast in grey or a high gain screen in white.
GIANT PVC PROJECTION SCREENS
Available in sizes up to 10m x 3m, this large PVC projection screen displays an image simultaneously on both sides of the screen using a single projector. Our Large Format PVC Screens offer a flexible projection solution that can be stitched together to create larger screen sizes as well as suspended to create animated projection displays.
These flexible fabric projection screens can also be tensioned within a framework to create curved projection screens on a large scale. We manufactured a huge 5.79m x 2m screen of this kind for the Oscar nominated Netflix blockbuster, ‘The Midnight Sky’, with the PVC screen tensioned within framework at a 5 degree tilt to produce the most realistic image in one of the key movie sets.

Digital Glass provides an extremely robust solution for digital signage, high-end projection and large format edge blending with options available for Active 3D or Passive 3D Projection. These UST projection displays are also often specified for simulation projects where customers are looking to achieve an immersive projection CAVE environment.
REAR PROJECTION TOUCH SCREENS
Digital Glass can also be transformed into an interactive touch screen using our IR (infrared) touch screen overlays to create Interactive Digital Glass. Perfect for large format multi-touch displays, these touch screen overlays are available with up to 32 touchpoints and in sizes up to a huge 10m x 3m, ideal for use with LED, LCD and projection displays.
The key defining factor between our glass and acrylic large projector screens is that by opting for acrylic you are able to achieve a lighter, larger rigid projection screen (up to 8000mm x 3000mm) that is more robust than the glass alternative.
Benefits of choosing a large format glass screen include a more cost effective projection solution that’s also more rigid than the acrylic option but is limited to 5000mm by 1500mm.
Our large projector screens can be manufactured in various aspect ratios and custom sizes up to 5000mm x 1500mm (Glass), 8000mm x 3000mm (Acrylic) and 10m x 3m (PVC) to create huge single-screen displays, producing the same quality image at a lower cost to competing LCD and LED video wall technology.
For even bigger projects we offer a Projection Mapping Film, which has previously been used to transform glass facades into a high definition projection screen.
Yes, both our Glass & Acrylic Digital Glass and PVC Projection Film support ultra short-throw projection. It’s important to remember that UST projectors are likely to still require a considerable viewing distance to cater to the larger screen sizes available in the digital glass range.
UST projectors have a throw ratio of 0.4 or less, so for a 100″ screen your UST projector would be able to be positioned beneath the screen to easily project images at this size.
Large projector screens offer the perfect projection alternative to LCD and LED Video Walls, with the option to be joined to create larger or immersive CAVE type projection systems. These impressive screens are ideal for use in a wide range of applications including TV, Film & Broadcasting, Museums, Retail & Visitor Attractions.
Digital Glass can also be combined with Pro Display’s intouch infrared multi-touch frames to create Interactive Digital Glass – perfect for large format multi-touch display applications. These touch frames are available with up to 32 touchpoints and in sizes up to a huge 10m x 3m, ideal for use with LED, LCD and projection displays.
