Pro Display and Intelligent Glass Draws Crowds at 100% Design Show
In September this year, Pro Display and Intelligent Glass embarked on 100% Design once again. This stellar event, taking place at the Olympia in London, is host to incredible products and businesses, displaying some of the most creative contemporary design innovations in the market today.
This year was no exception, with the exhibitor turnout being one of the most exciting yet. Amongst the incredible array of products on display, the Pro Display Group stole the show with their stunning range of innovative technology.
Grabbing the attention of passersby, the products on demonstration from Pro Display and Intelligent Glass served their primary roles perfectly, offering audiences right there and then a great example of just how eye-catching and captivating this technology can be. Experts in design, architecture and other fields flocked to stand D415 to see and discuss such exciting products with the Pro Display Group sales team. The team were pleased to hear just how many projects were currently active, calling on these products to help satisfy a particular specification or issue. Many of those who visited were left breath-taken with the capabilities these products granted them, allowing elements such as privacy or projection to take on new creative roles within the process of design.

Featured Products at 100% Design 2017, London
Switchable Glass
Switchable Glass, as its name suggests, is operated by a simple electrical switch, controlling the opacity of the glass from clear to translucent. It can easily be integrated into automation systems too, giving you even more control.
Switchable Glass was of particular interest to our visitors, mostly consisting of architects, this relatively new technology offers the market a huge range of options regarding privacy. Available as fire resistant glass, sound resistant glass, door panels and a whole range of other features, which drastically alter how architects and designers can apply privacy solutions.
Switchable Film
Switchable film allows you to transform existing glass windows, partitions, acrylic screens, plexiglass or other transparent surfaces for instant switchable privacy and security.
Much like Switchable Glass, this technology was of immense interest to designers and architects for its paradigm changing functionality. Switchable Film’s applications are only enhanced compared to Switchable Glass in that it can be retrofitted to existing surfaces, allowing for far more flexibility in where it can be applied, making stylish privacy easier than ever to obtain.
Freestanding Mirror TV
Mirror TVs from Pro Display offer you the best of both a mirror and a TV. When the TV is switched on, the enhanced HD quality images magically appear through the glass surface. When switched off, the screen reverts back to a decorative mirror.
Designers, architects and residential audiences of all kinds were intrigued by the Mirrored TV on display, not only for its undeniable presence, but also for the capabilities and solutions it offers.
The Freestanding mirror offers an ideal compromise between having a classic theme and contemporary amenities. Allowing you to pack a cutting edge HD/4K TV screen or monitor into a mirror with a wide variety of frame choices, this mirror offers designers a way to fill an environment with cutting edge technology whilst preserving their chosen theme.
Interactive Mirrored Wall Panel
Mirrored Wall Panels offer businesses an incredibly engaging tool, from advertising, entertaining or even informing, these screens offer users a stylish way to communicate with audiences, which can then be extended when interactivity is considered.
The decorative panel with a range of finishes adds a huge degree of creative versatility, allowing you to style your fascia with a chosen theme, serving as not only a useful way to engage customers, but also an opportunity to showcase your portfolio, past projects or product range in a stylish way, often an important aspect in the field of design and architecture.
Interactive Touch Tables
Pro Display’s new range of multi-touch tables and furniture utilises PCAP technology, offering 10 touch points and the most responsive and sensitive surface for 24/7 applications. A number of standard products are available and we can custom design both tables and furniture to meet with a customer’s specific requirements.
At 100% Design, Pro Display were exhibiting one of their standard Touch Table models, boasting a designer table and a 50″ multi-touch display. This culminates in a product that can transform the way you introduce customers or visitors to your products or services, offering you the ultimate in sales presentation technology. Delivering memorable visual pitches is made easy with this product, but its design and planning capabilities make it ideal for interior designers and architects also.
Transparent LCD Screens
Transparent LCD screens from Pro Display combine HD LCD technology (4K on our 84″ version) with a transparent screen substrate, opening up creative avenues that were previously closed with traditional LCD screens. Solid black pixels on a transparent background can be used in intriguing ways to hide (and gradually reveal) whatever is behind the screen.
A fantastic application of this technology is in Transparent LCD display cases. Demonstrated at 100% Design, this product drew the attention of most people who stopped by, not only fascinated with the technology at work, but also admiring the effect it produces, integrating the products on display behind the screen with the media content being shown on the screen creates a powerful effect that most people will not be expecting.
Transparent LED Screens
Transparent LED Screens offer a high brightness alternative to pre-existing transparent display technology. With the emergence of transparent screens in recent years, Transparent LED screens are revolutionary in that they do not require a back-light for visibility. The image on the screen is created by programming the LEDs to work together, and by displaying the relevant pixel colour on the mapped LEDs, the lights come together to create an image.
Housed in a screen box, these screens are ideal for indoor window displays, and work excellently with architectural glass buildings. Perfect for reinforcing your brand, to advertise or to inform, these screens are an excellent option for anyone who wishes to display content in style without blocking out light or even the view on both sides.
This transparent screen opens up new creative options that were not possible with standard screens, or even other Transparent screen technologies available. The lack of requirement for a back-light or display box offers a simple, stylish and cost effective transparent screen solution in this product.
UST Front Projection Sunscreen
Pro Display’s Front Projection Sunscreen combines a high contrast projection layer and unique optical filter that rejects external light, providing stunning images with superior brightness, contrast and resolution.This screen is specifically designed for the latest ultra short throw (UST) projectors. In addition, it is a unique light-rejecting screen that filters out ambient light, excelling in brightly lit environments and in edge-blending applications.
Standing out brilliantly, thanks to the high brightness of the product, this screen was showcased using a UST projector, demonstrating how conservative it can be on space without compromising on quality. Indeed, use of the UST laser projector showcased superior quality that these 2 technologies produce when working together.
Ultra Black Rear Projection Film
Ultra Black Rear Projection Film is the newest addition to our range of rear projection films. Designed to offer excellent contrast, black levels and colour reproduction, it is ideal for high-end applications where image quality is of high importance.
This black tinted diffusion screen served brilliantly at 100% Design, built outwards facing into the stand, drawing people over. Fulfilling its primary function beautifully, this screen did an amazing job demonstrating its effectiveness in such a setting- showing audiences just how impeccable its quality is.
